اعتراض رضا پهلوی به حکم حبس و شلاق حشمت الله طبرزدی

من از هم میهنانم می خواهم که همبسته و مقاوم صدای اعتراض خود را در مخالفت با رای نا عادلانه ای که آقای حشمت اله طبرزدی بدان محکوم شده است رسا کنند . محکومیت غیرانسانی که شامل زندان و شلاق است و فقط به این دلیل که او نظرش را بیان کرده است، یک قدرت نمایی برای خاموش کردن تمامی حامیان دموکراسی و نقض حقوق اولیۀ آقای طبرزدی است .

رژیم حاکم نه خود را ملزم به رعایت حقوق اولیۀ فردی می داند و نه خود را ملزم به انعطاف پذیری از اصول ایدئولوژیکی خود می داند . به این دلیل است که من خواهان یک گزینۀ سکولار به جای این رژیم هستم .

آقای طبرزدی شما تنها نیستید و من نگران شما و خانواده شما هستم .

I call upon my compatriots to stand firmly and voice their disapproval of the unjust sentencing of Mr. Heshmatullah Tabarzadi, a journalist and long-time democracy advocate in Iran . The harsh sentence, which includes prison and corporal punishment merely for speaking his opinion, is a blatant attempt to silence all democracy advocates and violates Mr. Tabarzadi's basic rights .

The current regime continues to demonstrate that it will neither respect the most basic individual rights nor bend its ideological will . This is why I am calling for a secular alternative to this regime .

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Mr. Tabarzadi . You are not alone.
